The wood cut

The wood cut was very fun. Lots of people were there you should have gone. It was so, much fun. The scouts and the dads of those that came split into two teams 1st chopped wood and the 2nd formed a chain to get wood to the trucks. We got pitch all over us. The scouts were so fast the old guys with the axes could not keep up. The best part I think was throwing the logs into the pile at the end. It took us 3 hours to split and load   6 1/2 cords of wood. And only 20 minutes to unload 3 cords.

Come on the outing next time, we will have fun. It will be a chop filled day with axes, wood, and gloves galore, great company with your friends.

Wood cut help your troop and keeps a scout physically fit, mentally awake.
